There are weddings… and then there are weddings like this one. Pip and Sam’s day at Marqués de Montemolar in Altea, Spain had absolutely everything — a jaw-dropping venue, golden Mediterranean light, flowers for days, and a party that didn’t stop until the small hours. From start to finish, it was pure joy, emotion, and energy — a photographer’s dream.

The moment I arrived, I knew we were in for something special. The vibes were electric from the very beginning — music playing, glasses clinking, and an impromptu dance party breaking out before Pip was even in her dress. The bridal suite buzzed with laughter, champagne, and the kind of excitement that only happens when the day you’ve dreamed of finally arrives.

And then came that first look moment — bridesmaids and Dads seeing Pip in her dress for the first time. So much emotion, happy tears all around. It set the tone for a day that was as heartfelt as it was stylish.

Over at the ceremony, Sam couldn’t hold back his own tears as Pip walked down the aisle, framed by the Spanish sunshine and the stunning architecture of Marqués de Montemolar. It was personal, emotional, and full of banter, with Sam’s brother, Ben, officiating and keeping the ceremony beautifully real. Between the laughter, the vows, and the happy tears, it was the perfect blend of romance and personality.

Afterwards, the celebration truly began — tapas for days, signature cocktails flowing, and that unbeatable view over the Mediterranean. Every corner of the venue looked like it was straight out of a movie: the grand manor house, the soft light, the fairy lights twinkling as dusk fell. It was pure magic.

We explored the grounds for portraits, soaking up that incredible sunset and those ocean views — one of those shoots where everything just clicks. I had the pleasure of working alongside the brilliant Molehill Media on video, which made the whole creative process a joy.

As night fell, the atmosphere cranked up another gear. The speeches from Pip’s dad, Sam, and best man Mike were equal parts hilarious and heartfelt — the kind of moments that remind you why wedding photography is such a privilege. The champagne tower was a showstopper, and when the band kicked off… well, the dance floor exploded. Hands in the air, shoes off, and smiles everywhere — it was one of the most epic dance floors I’ve ever had the joy to capture.

Everything about this wedding — from the setting to the people — was unforgettable. Pip and Sam, thank you for bringing the energy, the emotion, and the love. What a day. What a party. What a couple!
