From the moment I first met Jade and Matt, I knew their wedding was going to be something truly special. They had so many thoughtful, creative ideas planned for the day, and I was excited to capture every moment at the stunning Dodford Manor, one of Northamptonshire’s most romantic barn wedding venues.
One of the most touching parts of the day was watching Matt hold their beautiful daughter, Adeline, as Jade walked down the aisle with her proud mum, Julie. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
The ceremony was filled with love and personal touches that reflected who Jade and Matt are as a couple. They had chosen to write their own vows, which added so much emotion to the moment.
Jade and Matt had opted for a self-carve dining experience, where each table had a nominated guest acting as chef. It was such a fun and interactive idea — laughter and conversation filled the room as friends and family got stuck in and embraced their inner “chef”.
We were treated to the most incredible sunset at golden hour, and it made for some of the most breathtaking portraits of the day. The light incredible — the perfect backdrop for capturing Jade and Matt together as the sun dipped behind the rolling countryside.
As night fell, guests gathered outside to form a sparkler tunnel — the perfect finale to an unforgettable wedding.
Thank you, Jade and Matt, for letting me capture your incredible day — it’s one I’ll always remember. I hope you enjoy reliving it all through this selection of photos.
Big thanks also to Leela for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day, great job as always.
