The Wedding of Catherine and Gavin – Stratton Court Barn – Sneak Peek Storyboard!

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Catherine and Gavin’s beautiful wedding at Stratton Court Barn near Bicester.

I arrived at the bridal preparations room to find Catherine and her bridesmaids enjoying champagne and being Pampered with hair and make up. All in good spirits and very excited for the days events. Catherine looked stunning in her dress which had an amazing fishtail train which photographed beautifully.

The ceremony was to take place in the main barn which was decorated with a beautiful flower arch and rows of fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. Gavin, his Groomsmen and all their closest friends and family were already inside and full of smiles as they waited for the arrival of Catherine and her bridesmaids.

Cat took Gavin’s breath away as she walked down the aisle with her very proud father Graham to start the ceremony. It was a pleasure to be there to see such a lovely couple say their vows and exchange rings to become husband and wife!!

The sun was now shining and everyone mingled outside before forming a confetti tunnel, wow! I have never seen so much confetti! So much fun. There were fair ground games for everyone to enjoy whilst we did a few family groups and couple shots around the beautiful grounds.

Next up was the wedding breakfast and the table arrangements looked amazing! Flowers, candles and a New York theme for the table names as that’s where the happy couple are heading on honeymoon! Everyone enjoyed a great 3 course meal before everyone charged their glasses ready for the speeches which were excellently delivered by all and had the guests in fits of laughter, so much fun to capture.

After the meal we had some lovely late afternoon sunshine so we took Cat and Gavin to the drive for some shots as the sun was going down. They have such a great energy together and I love the shots we got below.

It was soon time to get the party started as the new Mr and Mrs Mansi took to the dance floor for their first dance. Then the band filled the dancefloor with some classic rock anthems!

Cat and Gavin, thanks for asking me to photograph your wedding. Rich and I had a blast with you all on the day and I couldn’t wait to put your sneak peek together. Have a great honeymoon and I look forward to sharing the full collection with you both in 4 weeks time.

Big thanks also to Rich for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day. Great job!
