I often get asked, “What Photography Equipment do you use?” or “What’s in your bag?” by professionals or aspiring photographers so I have detailed everything I use below with links on where to purchase everything.

    What’s in my bag?

The main photography cameras I use are the Sony A9ii’s. In my opinion, these are the best Mirrorless cameras on the market. Full Frame and incredible in low light situations, they have dual card slots so you always have a physical backup of the photos taken at the event. They take SD cards which are fast to write to and perfect for those “quick blast” moments at weddings like when you are shooting confetti or people hitting the dancefloor. The bodies are lightweight and have a silent shutter and swivel screen to help with going unnoticed during the documentary parts of the day. You can also attach a strap like the Black Rapid one I use that allows you to secure the camera safely around your neck whilst shooting. I also use an additional battery grip that allows you to use two batteries and also shoot vertically without adjusting your grip. With regards to on-camera flash I love the Godox Flash Units. They are inexpensive and the battery life is incredible. In fact, I have never had to change the battery on a 10-hour shooting day.

Occasionally I also shoot video for Commercial clients. I don’t think there’s a better camera on the market than the Sony A7SIII. Once again it’s full-frame and shoots 4k Video at 120fps (frames per second). Is amazing in low light and gives you the option of shooting super slow-motion clips that are a must for great product videography.
