On Friday the 5th of August I shot the wedding of Jodie and Russell Tapping at Hughenden Church and Piper’s Corner School.
Russell and Jodie actually moved their wedding day so they could have me photograph their wedding as I was already booked for their previously arranged date. I’m so thankful they did as I shot Russell’s sisters wedding last year (Vicky and Rob) and I was really looking forward to seeing them again and all their lovely family.
I had a great time with Jodie and her family during bridal prep with her Dad cracking a few jokes along the way. Jodie was a picture of calm whilst people dashed around her getting ready and she looked amazing in her vintage style dress and Kurt Geiger shoes.
The church had strict rules about photography but I was allowed to take a few shots from the back of the church capturing some beautiful moments before everyone gathered outside in the sunshine to congratulate the new Mr and Mrs Tapping!!
The reception was at Piper’s Corner School, Russell’s mum Mel is the gardener there and what a great job she does, the place looked amazing and we were spoilt for choice on places to shoot.
The speeches were both emotional and hilarious with Russell’s two best men doing a grand job of story telling.
Russell and Jodie will have to tell me the bands name so I can post a link but they did a great job of filling the dancefloor with everyone partying late into the night.
