The Wedding of Taniel and Darren – Notley Abbey – Sneak Peek Storyboard!

From the moment I met Taniel and Darren at their pre-wedding shoot, I couldn’t wait for their wedding. These guys are so fun to be around and their plans for their big day sounded awesome. Add in the fact the wedding was being held at the stunning Notley Abbey and they had all the ingredients for a perfect wedding.

This was the first time I had photographed an outdoor ceremony at Notley Abbey and I had my fingers crossed all week that the weather would hold out. Well, it did more than that. In fact, we had perfect light as Taniel walked down the aisle with her very proud father Chris. Not a dry eye in the place.

The ceremony was both fun and personal with a family member conducting the proceedings and Darren’s nephew delivering the rings. Everyone cheered as they walked back down the aisle and Darren dipped Taniel for a kiss.

Everyone enjoyed the sunshine and champagne as we did confetti and group shots in the courtyard. Then as the guests headed in for the wedding breakfast we had some fun with Taniel and Darren and their bridal party doing some photos around the grounds.

The reception room looked amazing! Styled and decorated to perfection by the super talented Sam from Samsa May’s with beautiful hanging candles and flowers. Add in the sparkling chandeliers and self playing piano and the setting was complete!

There were two speeches before the meal and two after. Chris, Darren, Tyanah and Best Man Billy all did a great job. The happy tears flowed as they said such lovely words about Taniel as well as funny stories about the newlyweds.

After a break to enjoy the hog roast we had a sprinkling of rain, and as the sun shone back through we had a rainbow! In all my 13 years of weddings I think this is my first! Surely a sign of good luck for Taniel and Darren and of course a good photo opportunity.

Next up it was time for the first dance. Chris and Taniel had a lovely father and daughter dance before Chris handed Taniel over to Darren and then the party got started with a live Saxophonist and Drummer!

The fun wasn’t over yet. Darren had the job of retrieving the garter and sure did he have fun doing it as you will see below.

To end what truly was the prefect wedding day, everyone lit sparkers outside and Taniel and Darren walked and kissed their way through the tunnel of light before heading back in to dance the night away.

Taniel and Darren, what can I say? We had so much fun capturing your wedding and I found it so hard to pick the shots for this “sneak peek”, that’s why there’s so many lol. I hope you have a great honeymoon and enjoy reliving the day though these photos.

Big thanks also to Jonathan for being my wingman on the day. Great job as always.
