On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Annette and Dave’s wedding at Notley Tythe Barn in Long Crendon.
I met up with Annette and her bridesmaids at her Mum’s house and they were super organised and pretty much ready with hair and make up, looking forward to the great day ahead. Dave had been a very thoughtful husband to be and bought Annette many presents to help set the scene for her bridal preparations including a wedding candle and chocolates. Major husband points earned already.
Annette and her Mum drove to Notley in style, in a red, vintage, E Type Jaguar. It looked amazing and what a way to arrived to the ceremony on your wedding day.
Annette looked stunning as she walked down the aisle to join hands with Dave to start the ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony with many smiles and lovely moments as Annette and Dave read their vows and exchanged rings before heading out into the sunshine to enjoy a glass of champagne with their guests.
After a few group shots and a couple of little showers we headed back out into the sunshine to take some lovely portraits of Dave and Annette with Dave’s uniform looking really smart against the blue sky and corn fields surrounding the barn.
After a fantastic three course meal it was time for the speeches. Annette’s brother Richard, Best Man Sam and Dave all did a great job of sharing some funny stories of Annette and Dave’s time together and how they met, along with many thank you’s and some lovely words about the beautiful bride.
After dinner the light was perfect so we nipped out for some sunset shots and we created some beautiful photos of Annette and Dave (well done for braving the wind!) which I’m sure they will treasure for a lifetime!
It was soon time to get the party started, with a full brass band no less, with Dave included! They absolutely smashed it with hit after hit as people danced and enjoyed the great music.
Annette and Dave, thank you so much for asking me to photograph your wedding you’re both such fun to be around and made our job so easy. Thanks for giving us the time to create so many lovely photos for you. Heres your sneak peek storyboard!
Big thanks also to Kay for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day. Great job as always.
