What a great day Friday was. Shooting Ellie and Antony’s wedding was a real pleasure. The sun was shining all day and it gave us some lovely evening light to play with to create some stunning shots for the happy couple.
St Mary’s church in Stoke Mandeville was where the ceremony was held and it provided a beautiful backdrop to a lovely ceremony with so many wonderful moments. I just loved shooting it all, from the moment Kevin walked Ellie down the aisle to the cute little glances Ellie and Antony gave each other throughout the vows and readings. It was just perfect!
Notley Tythe Barn in Long Crendon always delivers as a great reception venue and with the weather as glorious as it was everyone got to enjoy the lawn with pimms and canapes before heading in for the speeches. These were one of the many highlights of the day with lots of funny stories and sentimental moments. Lindsay wrote a lovely poem about Ellie to kick things off. Antony said some beautiful words about his new wife Ellie and Best Man Craig had everyone in fits of laughter with his speech, completed with a “standing ovation” 😉
It was nice to be able to spend some time with Bridal party as the sun was going down and get some lovely shots of them all which I’m sure Ellie and Antony will treasure!
Last of the formalities was the first dance and many of their friends and family soon joined them on the dance floor to party the night away with the live band!
Huge congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Woodward, thank you for asking me to capture your big day, it was a real pleasure to be a part of it. I’m sure you can’t wait to see some shots so here is your sneak peek storyboard!
