Wow! What a wedding! Last Friday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Helen and Luke’s wedding at the Five Arrows in Waddesdon.

After a few date moves, Helen and Luke finally got to have their dream wedding and be surrounded by all their friends and family.

The Five Arrows looked beautiful with all the Summer flowers in bloom, made even more perfect by the sunshine we had been blessed with.

There were a few happy tears as Helen walked down the aisle to join hands with Luke to start the ceremony and it was a joy to capture as they read their vows and exchanged rings before leaving through a cloud of confetti.

The drinks reception was so lovely and relaxed, Syler entertained everyone with his mind-blowing magic and everyone enjoyed champagne and canapés on the lawn whilst we did a few group photos.

The reception tables were named after “Games of Thrones” surnames and covered in petals and candles. After a lovely three-course meal it was time for the speeches!

Graham, Luke and Ben all did a great job entertaining the guests with funny stories, lovely words, and props. It was so much fun capturing everyone’s reactions.

With the sun starting to set we jumped in my car and set off to Waddesdon Manor for some couple shots before the first dance. This was a really special part of the day. We had the whole drive and Manor House to ourselves with only the sounds of the birds around us. Helen and Luke were amazing and we got some truly stunning photos of them both before heading back for the first dance.

Helen and Luke, we got there, and it was so worth the wait. Thanks so much for asking me to photograph your big day, we had a blast with you all. I couldn’t wait to share some photos with you so here’s your sneak peek storyboard!
