The Wedding of Lauren and Chris – Caswell House Wedding – Storyboard!

My Summer of weddings is now in full swing and what better way to kick off the weekend than sharing some pictures with you all from Lauren and Chris’s awesome wedding at Caswell House last week.

It was a reunion of sorts as I arrived to start bridal prep, as Lauren was maid of honour for Sophie (one of my lovely brides last year) and great to see many of the same bridesmaids as well as a few new faces.

Lauren looked stunning in her dress which had an amazing train that fanned out to perfection! There was no surprise that it all got a bit emotional as Lauren walked down the aisle with her two brothers.

The ceremony set up at Caswell House is simply beautiful and with the sun shining Lauren and Chris said their vows and exchanged rings in front of all their friends and family. I love an outdoor ceremony as it creates a lovely relaxed atmosphere and this one ticked all the boxes.

With plenty of time for group and couple shots, everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés whilst we used the many gardens, arches, bridge and grounds to get some great portraits for Lauren and Chris. However the best light was to come later in the day as you will see below.

Once everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast, the speeches began. These were absolutely cracking and we captured so much laughter! The best men had really gone to town on their preparation and made up a game show featuring questions about Chris which had everyone in hysterics. So much fun to capture.

As the sun was starting to set we were treated with some of the best light I have had at a wedding. It’s hard to take a bad shot of Lauren and Chris and with golden light like this it was a match made in heaven.

Now it was time to get the party started, so Lauren and Chris took to the dance floor for their first dance and were soon joined by all their guests to party on into the night as DJ RudeRoy span the tracks. The perfect end to an epic wedding day.

Lauren and Chris, it was such a pleasure being your wedding photographer. You guys are so much fun to be around and naturals in front of the camera. I couldn’t wait to share some pics with you so here’s your sneak peek storyboard!

Big thanks also to my 2nd shooter Kay for doing a great job all day.
