Alan, Joy’s father was beaming with pride as he walked Joy down the aisle and Rich looked equally as happy to see his new wife to be. The ceremony was lovely with readings from close friends and family and a few laughs along the way as Joy and Rich exchanged they vows and officially became Mr and Mrs Ravenhall.
The weather held for a few minutes so we made the most of it and made a dash outside to do some shots with Joy and Rich around the grounds before the rain set in again. However we used it to our advantage creating some lovely funky flash shots with rain drops as our background.
Whilst everyone enjoyed a 3 course meal prepared by Jamie Oliver’s “Fabulous Feasts” the guests also had the added entertainment of a pianist and the mind reading talents of Mark Cairns who astounded the guests with his uncanny abilities.
Soon it was time for the speeches and Alan, Rich and his two Best Men did a fab job of entertaining the crowd with funny stories and lovely sentiments about Joy and Rich. The Best Men ran with the Christmas theme and provided a power point Panto all about Rich which really had the guests roaring with laughter.
Before we knew it it was time for Joy and Rich’s first dance as husband and wife and whilst they graced the dance floor they were covered with bubbles and lavender confetti which was a lovely end to the formalities and then the party really got started “Gangnam Style”!!
Joy and Rich, thank for asking me to capture your wedding. Paul and I had a great time with you all and you really made our great 2012 even greater! I can’t wait to show you the full collection but for now heres your sneak peek!
