On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Steph and Luke’s beautiful wedding at the stunning venue, Woburn Sculpture Gallery!
It was such a fantastic day filled with great moments from start to finish. Steph and Luke have such a great connection, always smiling and are simply a joy to be around. I truly felt honoured to be capturing their special day and photographing moments I’m sure they will treasure for the rest of their lives together.
I met up with Steph and her lovely bridesmaids as they were all enjoying being pampered with hair, make up and a few glasses of champagne! It was a nice relaxed morning and Steph wasn’t showing any signs of nerves as she was zipped into her dress. She looked absolutely beautiful and her father Pete’s reaction as he saw her for the first time was picture perfect!
Alex was busy photographing Luke and the Groomsmen who had arrived at Woburn in style, in two range rovers decorated in wedding day ribbons. They all looked super sharp in their suits and the banter was in full flow as the excitement rose throughout the morning.
Guests were now taking their places in the very grand ceremony room which has many beautiful features such as sculptures, marble pillars and gold leaf not to mention the flower arrangements which finished off the setting perfectly.
Steph soon made the walk down the aisle with her very proud father Pete and I think its safe to say Luke was blown away. The ceremony was full of lovely moments as the happy couple read their vows and exchanged rings to become husband and wife! As they walked back down the aisle their guests showered them with confetti before everyone headed out into the sunshine to celebrate.
Whilst everyone congratulated Steph and Luke and enjoyed drinks and canapes we did a few family shots and then had some fun with the bridal party around the beautiful grounds. I love the shots we did below around the Abbey, so many great spots and Steph and Luke were a joy to photograph.
Soon everyone headed in to the wedding reception room and first on the agenda was the speeches! These were perfectly delivered by Pete, Luke and Steve and had the guests entertained throughout with funny stories and lovely words. It was a lot of fun capturing everyones reactions.
After the wedding breakfast we had enough time to use the last drops of daylight to get some beautiful shots across the lake before heading in for the first dance. This was another highlight of the day as Steph and Luke looked so happy twirling around the dance floor before their guests joined them to start the party.
Steph and Luke, thanks for asking me to photograph your wedding day. Alex and I had so much fun with you both and all your lovely guests. I couldn’t wait to go through the shots and put your sneak peek together. I hope you enjoy reliving the day through these and I will be in touch before you leave for honeymoon to show you the full collection.
Big thanks also to Alex Bradbury who once again did a fab job assisting and 2nd shooting.
