I absolutely loved photographing Carey and Sam’s wedding at Hedsor House last week. We were totally blessed with amazing Autumn weather complete with sunshine all day and a beautiful sunset to finish.
Sam was best man for James and Jess who’s wedding I also had the pleasure of photographing so I was chuffed when they asked me to photograph their’s at the amazing Hedsor House. So many movies have been filmed there and you can see why. The house itself is very grand with chandeliers, staircases and so many beautiful features, not to mention the grounds and the views! A photographer’s paradise for sure.
I met up with Carey and her lovely bridesmaids in the bridal suite which is another jaw dropping part of the house. They were all busy getting ready and very excited for the days events to unfold. Carey didn’t show any nerves just pure excitement and you could hear them all scream as Sam came down the road in an amazing McLaren, what an entrance!
We got to spend some time with Sam and his two best men whilst they got ready and greeted their many guests before the ceremony. Sam looked super sharp in his suit and the ceremony room soon started to fill with all their closest friends and family.
It was all smiles and a few happy tears as Carey walked down the aisle with her very proud father Paul to join hands with Sam. The ceremony had two lovely readings and it was a pleasure to capture the sheer happiness on Sam and Carey’s faces as they exchanged vows to become husband and wife!
Carey and Sam left the building through an awesome bubble tunnel as you will see below. With the weather being so kind everyone enjoyed drinks, canapés and ice cream from “The Works” in the gardens whilst we did a few group and couple shots. The guests were also entertained by a harpist which added to the perfect atmosphere.
Next up it was time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches which were excellently delivered by Paul, Sam, James and Tom. They all had the guests in hysterics with funny stories, old home movies and pictures. It was so much fun to capture it all as you will see below.
After the wedding breakfast the sun was just starting to set so we headed out for some sunset shots in the back gardens where you have an amazing view over the valley below. Breathtaking!
The dance floor was now in place and giant “LOVE” letters lit up the balcony above which made for a great background for Carey and Sam’s first dance as husband and wife. Their guests soon joined them to party the night away and cap off what was such a fantastic wedding day.
Carey and Sam, thanks so much for asking me to photograph your wedding. It’s been lovely getting to know you both over the last few months and it was truly a pleasure to play a part in your big day. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek storyboard and I’m sure I will see you in “The Works” very soon 🙂
Big thanks also to Alex Bradbury for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day, great job as always!
