On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Bethany and Matthew’s wedding at the beautiful Tythe Barn in Launton near Bicester.

We were blessed with sunshine which meant the ceremony would be outside in the gardens and everyone soon started to fill the seats as Matthew and his Groomsmen greeted guests as they arrived.

Bethany was busy finishing bridal prep with her bridesmaids in the Nook which is the bridal suite at the Tythe Barn. She looked stunning in her lace dress which had amazing detail and the flowers topped off the look, perfectly put together by Jemma at The Flower Shed. Bethany was ready with plenty of time to spare which was great as she could really soak in the last few moments and hear everyone arriving as the ceremony garden is just over the wall from the Nook. There was even time for a glass of prosecco and a few family shots!

The aisle is beautiful at the Tythe Barn, a canopy of leaves and flowers and it was all smiles as Bethany and Matthew joined hands to begin the ceremony. It’s always nice to photograph a ceremony outside in natural light and this one was a true pleasure to capture. Bethany and Matthew have been together many years and it was lovely to see them read their vows and exchange rings in front of all their nearest and dearest friends and family.

Everyone made the most of the grounds whilst enjoying the drinks reception and we took the time to get some family, bridal party and couple shots in and around the barn. Finishing with a big group shot complete before everyone headed in for the speeches.

The speeches were all fantastic, Gary, Matthew and Robbie did a great job of telling stories, thanking the many people that helped make the wedding such a success and of course many lovely words about the beautiful bride Bethany.

The food is always amazing at The Tythe Barn, and the tabletop picnic did not disappoint. Closely followed by a slice of the awesome chocolate wedding cake.

After a few cups of coffee in the cow shed and some garden games it was soon time for the new Mr and Mrs Daniell to take to the dance floor and have their first dance as husband and wife. They were soon followed by many of their guests to get the party well and truly started!
