I had such a great time photographing Rebecca and Martin’s wedding last Friday. The day started at Rebecca’s home where she was being pampered by the awesome duo of Juliet and Lorraine whom I have worked with many times. The morning was really relaxed and Rebecca looked beautiful in her dress, complete with a stunning long veil.
The ceremony took place at St John’s Church in Stratton Audley and Yvonne took a lovely service. There were a few happy tears as Rebecca walked down the aisle and Alex captured Martin’s happiness perfectly as he saw Rebecca for the first time.
The happy couple left the church through a cloud of confetti and we shot a fun large group shot in the grounds before heading over to the barn for drinks and canapés.
We were so lucky with the weather as the only rain we had all day was in the morning, which was perfect! The wind gave us some challenges but Rebecca and Martin were troopers and we had a great time with them later on in the day as the sun was setting. The light was perfect as were the couple.
After the speeches, which were another highlight of the day. Everyone enjoyed some time out in the courtyard and in the “Hoof Booth” for some funny pictures. Then we all headed inside to finish off the day’s formalities with the first dance!
Rebecca and Martin, it’s been lovely to get to know you both over the last few weeks, and thanks so much for asking me to photograph your wedding. It truly was the perfect day!
Big thanks to Alex for 2nd shooting, great job as always.
