The Wedding of Rosalyn and Ashley – Micklefield Hall – Sneak Peek Storyboard!

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Rosalyn and Ashley’s wedding at the always stunning Micklefield Hall.

I met up with Roz and her bridesmaids in the bridal preparations room as they were all busy having their hair and make up done. Roz was super excited for the day ahead and Nyssa Addison (who is also Ashley’s sister and one of Roz’s bridesmaids) pampered her to perfection with hair and make up.

One of my favourite moments of the day was when Roz saw her Dad for the first time. It was one of those moments that kind of happened by accident as we moved Roz to the next room to use the best window light but I’m so thankful I caught the moment in time as you will see below.

Roz’s dress had an amazing train and a beautiful veil to match. She looked stunning! Roz really had planned the wedding to perfection. Every little detail had been thought about. Flowers covered every arch and table, even the hanging lights. It truly was a dream setting.

Ashley had quite the entourage of Groomsmen which went to show how many close friends he has and we had a good laugh with them all as we took some shots before the ceremony.

It’s hard to describe just how beautiful the ceremony setting is at Micklefield Hall. It’s like something out of a fairytale. The long aisle gives the bridal party plenty of time to take everything in and it was all smiles as Roz and her proud father Ian made their way down the steps to meet Ashley and start the ceremony.

The sun was shining and we loved capturing every moment as the happy couple said their vows and exchanging rings to become Mr and Mrs Addison!

Confetti filled the air as Roz and Ashley walked back down the aisle to enjoy the drinks reception with all their closest friends and family. Champagne and canapés were in abundance and there was plenty of time to enjoy the courtyard sunshine before the wedding breakfast.

After a fantastic three course meal ending with an amazing display of desserts it was time for the speeches. These were another highlight of the day. Ian kicked things off with an emotional speech before Ashley took over thanking the many people that had helped put such a great wedding together. Finally it was over to the best man who had the guests in fits of laughter with a great presentation about Ashley complete with a hilarious video with many famous faces.

Roz and Ashley, thanks for asking me to photograph your wedding. Rich and I had a great time with you both and I can’t wait to share some photos with you, so heres your sneak peek storyboard!
