On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Jess and Mark’s wedding at Missenden Abbey. We were blessed again with beautiful weather and the Abbey and gardens were in full bloom and looking amazing.
Jess was very relaxed as I met up with her and her Bridesmaid Annie and Flower girl Lilian in the bridal suite. With the ceremony being at 3pm they gave themselves plenty of time to get ready and it made for a very relaxed afternoon with lots of laughs and a few glasses of champers.
Mark and his best man Clive looked very smart as I met up with them at reception for a few shots before the ceremony and the ceremony room soon filled up with all their closest family and friends.
Jess’s Dad, Stephen, looked really proud as he walked Jess down the aisle to meet a very happy Mark and it was all smiles throughout a beautiful ceremony with sunshine pouring in through the stain glass windows.
With such wonderful weather everyone enjoyed a few glasses of Pimms on the lawn whilst we did some group and couple shots. We had great fun with Jess and Mark shooting in and around the blossom trees and grounds and they were well and truly working some poses by the end of the shoot 🙂
The speeches were next on the agenda and all the speakers did a fantastic job with Clive stealing the show with a great Best Man’s speech that had everyone in tears of laughter.
The theme of the day was trees and the reception room was decorated beautifully with toffee apples, log lanterns and flowers. Really unique and it looked amazing!
Before we knew it the evening was upon us and Jess and Mark got the party started with a great first dance. Then the band took over and really helped rock the dancefloor into full flow to end a really cracking wedding day.
Jess and Mark, thank you so much for asking me to photograph your big day. We had a great time with you all and I can’t wait to show you more in a few weeks time for now heres your sneak peek storyboard!
