Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Lucia and Paul’s amazing wedding with the ceremony being held at St Michael’s All Angels Church followed by a beautiful reception at Nether Winchendon House.
I started the day over at Lucia’s parents house where everyone was getting ready and sinking a few glasses of champagne, excited for the day ahead. Lucia looked stunning in her dress and only had a short walk to make as the church was literally across the road.
The sun was shining and every seat in the church was taken as Lucia walked down the aisle with her proud father John to join hands with Paul to start the ceremony.
It was a lovely ceremony with many hymns and readings from family members throughout before Lucia and Paul said they vows and exchanged rings to become the new Mr and Mrs Saw.
Everyone made a confetti tunnel outside and congratulated the happy couple before Lucia and Paul got into a beautiful vintage car, followed by a vintage London Bus and made their way to Nether Winchendon House.
We took some great shots with the car and bus before heading over to the main lawn for drinks and canapes. The grounds are amazing at Nether Winchendon House and everyone enjoyed being outside with a glass of champagne in hand whilst we did some family and couple photos.
It was soon time for the wedding breakfast so everyone made their way over to the carriage barn which had been decorated beautifully with flowers, lights and favours. There was a speech between each course and John, Paul and Best Man, Josh did a great job entertaining the guests and thanking all the people who had helped with the wedding.
During the meal there was also another surprise! Singing Waiters! Andy and Rory from Encore Entertainment were absolutely fantastic! They belted out song after song and by the end of it the guests were dancing on tables, swinging around their napkins, it was so much fun to capture and one of the many highlights of the day.
After the meal the guests were entertained again, this time with some great close up magic from Sylar before heading in for the first dance to end the days formalities.
Lucia and Paul, we had an absolute blast with you guys. Thanks for asking me to photograph your wedding. I hope you enjoy reliving the day through the photos below and have a great mini moon in Devon.
Big thanks also to Kay for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day.
