My awesome year of weddings continued last Friday when I photographer Sophie and Danny’s wedding at The Tythe Barn in Launton.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the barn looked incredible, covered from head to beam in amazing flowers from the Flower Shop in Oxford. Sophie’s face was a picture as she saw it all come together and had a practice walk down the aisle with her maid of honour Katy.
The Nook was filled with excitement and Danny and the Groomsmen were busy greeting guests with a chilled glass of Pimms on the front lawns.
The ceremony was short but sweet and it was lovely to capture as Sophie and Danny smiled at each other throughout their vows, with the sunlight streaming in through the barn windows. All their guests gave them a big cheer as they walked out the barn surrounded by bubbles!
Champagne and Canapes in the back garden were enjoyed by all the guests and we had a really fun time walking the grounds with Sophie and Danny during their couple session.
With their guests now inside for the wedding breakfast they were about to get a surprise, in the form of dancing chefs! One guest from each table was chosen to carve the roast lamb and danced in conga to “Be Our Guest”, great fun!
Next up was the speeches which were another highlight of the day with Paul, Chris, Danny and Sophie all doing a great job.
One of my favourite parts of the day was going out at sunset with Sophie and Danny and capturing some beautiful shots of them both with the golden sun setting through the trees before they headed in for their first dance.
Sophie and Danny, you guys are such an awesome couple, we had a blast with you and all your lovely guests. I couldn’t wait to share some photos with you so heres your sneak peek storyboard!
Big thanks also to Sharmaine for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day, great job as always!
