Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Jamie’s wedding at the always beautiful “The Tythe Barn” in Launton.
I had been checking the weather all week, hoping we would get a clear day and possibly a sunset as the Autumn light at the barn is incredible, we were not to be disappointed.
The morning was super relaxed as Rachel got ready at her parents house with her two sisters and bridesmaids. It was great to work with Lorraine Newark again and she did a cracking job on all the girls hair.
Rachel looked stunning in her dress and it was great fun capturing everyone’s reactions as she walked into the room to see her Dad for the first time.
Jamie and his groomsmen were busy greeting guests arriving at the barn after arriving in Jamie’s awesome Audi TT which was parked out the front.
The barn looked amazing with beautiful flower displays in the milk churns and candle lanterns lining the aisle, providing the perfect backdrop for what was a lovely ceremony.
Rachel and Jamie walked outside into the gardens after being showered with lavender confetti and everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés whilst we took some family group shots.
We had so much fun with the bridal party taking pictures around the barn grounds before heading in for the speeches!
There were four speeches from David, Jamie, Rachel’s bridesmaids Hannah and Ady and of course Best Man, Jamie. They all did a great job of entertaining the guests with funny stories and it was so much fun capturing it all as you will see below.
With the sun now starting to set we were blessed with the amazing sunset light we had hoped for. Rachel and Jamie were absolute legends and jumped at the chance to head outside with us to take some shots around the apple trees and along the main drive. I’m so glad they did as we got some beautiful shots, some of my favourite I have ever taken at the barn.
It was now time to party! Rachel and Jamie had booked a band called “The Dominos” WOW! These guys were awesome and had the dance floor rocking. The perfect ending to a perfect wedding day.
Rachel and Jamie, I hope you are having a great time in Italy. I couldn’t wait to share some photos with you guys, here’s your sneak peek storyboard!
Big thanks also to Kay Zieba for assisting and 2nd shooting, great job as always!
