For my final wedding of 2019 I had the pleasure of photographing Jess and Rob’s wedding at the Bucks County Museum with the reception being held at Quainton Village Hall.

I met up with Jess and her bridesmaids at her parents home for a few getting ready shots. Jess looked beautiful in her dress, as did the bridesmaids and bridesman. Jess had also picked the perfect flowers, such lovely bouquets.

Rob was well looked after by his Groomsmen and looked very sharp as Alex did a few shots with the boys before heading in to town for the ceremony.

It was all smiles and happy tears as Jess walked down the aisle to join hands with Rob to start the ceremony. There were lovely readings throughout the ceremony and it was joy to capture such a happy couple read their vows and exchange rings to become the new Mr and Mrs Underwood!

With the weather not playing ball we did some family groups and couple shots around the museum before Jess and Rob left through a tunnel of bubbles. They had a beautiful vintage car which they traveled over to the village hall in, complete with a glass of champagne!

The Village Hall had been beautifully decorated by Jess, Rob and many of their friends and family. Mum, Sue made the bunting and there were so many lovely details to follow the afternoon tea theme.

Speeches were up next and all three speakers did a great job entertaining the guests with funny stories and moments from Rob and Jess’s lives together. A few sentimental moments too and some lovely words from Rob about his new wife. A great end to the wedding breakfast.

The rain didn’t stop but Jess and Rob were such troopers and went along with my idea to head out for a special rain shot which I absolutely love and you will see below.

To finish the days formalities Jess and Rob took to the dance floor for their first dance. Just as everyone joined them, a confetti canon went off, showering everyone in silver confetti, such good fun as was the whole day!
