On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Bethan and David’s wedding at the beautiful Manor Farm Barn near Bicester.
We were blessed with sunshine which was good news as Bethan was to arrive in a beautiful open top vintage car and the surrounding grounds at Manor Farm Barn are beautiful so I was excited to get full use of the venue and hopefully a sunset across the field later on.
Bethan was busy finishing bridal prep with her bridesmaids when I arrived. She looked beautiful in her lace dress which had amazing detail. As a Harry Potter fan she even had a quote on the bottom of her wedding shoes.
David was busy greeting guests at Manor Farm Barn and the ceremony looked great with fairy lights covering the beams and walls around. It all got a bit emotional as Bethan’s brother walked her down the aisle to the start the ceremony. Bethan and David smiled throughout as they read their vows and exchanged rings to become Mr and Mrs Telford in front of all their closest family and friends.
Everyone made the most of the grounds whilst enjoying the drinks reception and we took the time to get some family, bridal party and couple shots in and around the barn. Finishing with a big group shot before everyone headed in for dinner.
Bethan and David had put so much detail into their wedding. David had used his extensive electronics skills to make a dazzling table plan and also a self shooting photo booth! Also the cake depicted the place where David proposed to add yet another personal touch.
The speeches were all fantastic, from Bethan’s brother to David saying so many lovely words about his new wife. Then the Best Man finishing them off with some funny stories about David. A great way to finish a lovely afternoon.
After a few cups of coffee in it was soon time for the new Mr and Mrs Telford to take to the dance floor and have their first dance as husband and wife. They had practiced a lovely dance together and it made for yet more lovely photos of them together. They were soon followed by many of their guests to get the party well and truly started with the live band!
We got that sunset we wished for and we finished the day with the most amazing light in a nearby field. The perfect ending to the perfect day.
Bethan and David, it was a real pleasure to photograph your wedding day and I hope you have a fantastic time on honeymoon. I’m sure your looking forward to seeing some photos so here is your sneak peek storyboard!
Big thanks also to Rich Foister for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day, fab job as always.
