I had such a great time photographing Katie and Chris’s wedding last Friday at Wotton House. It was the first time I have photographed a wedding at this beautiful venue and I loved every minute of it.
Katie and Chris had planned everything to perfection, and Katie’s style as a creative really shone through in everything she chose from the flowers, to the room decorations and of course the stunning dress!
The ceremony room is really something quite special and provided a very grand backdrop to Katie and Chris’s ceremony. The room was packed with all their closest friends and family and it was a pleasure to capture it all for them both as they became husband and wife!
There was live music during the drinks reception and everyone enjoyed Pimms and Champagne as we did some family, bridal party and couple shots around the amazing grounds. There are so many great spots, we could of shot there all day, Katie and Chris were a dream to photograph.
Another great part of the day was the speeches which were spread out between the courses. Paul and Chris both entertained the guests with great stories and lovely words about Katie before Best Men, John and Rob had everyone in hysterics with a video they had put together in Katie and Chris’s house without them knowing. Such a great idea and the perfect ending to a great wedding breakfast.
With the night now upon us, we took the time to use some of the house and lit up areas outside and have some fun with Katie, Chris and their bridal party before heading in for the first dance.
The party was only just getting started as a live band took to the stage and the dance floor filled. It stayed that way the rest of the night to give the happy couple a great ending to their fantastic wedding day.
Katie and Chris thanks for asking me to be your wedding photographer, you are such a lovely couple, Alex and I had an absolute blast with you all. I couldn’t wait to put together your sneak peek so heres some photos to relive the day by.
Big thanks also to Alex Bradbury for 2nd shooting and also the Wotton House team for all their help throughout the day.
